The first person that believed in me

Whenever I have given up to pursue my dream career, because of the obstacles like, financial difficulties, doubted because of the huge responsibility that comes with this career, scared of having to deal with my anxious past, present and future; this woman came to my life when I was working, challenged me and made me laugh.

She gave me hope, encouragement, came to my work weekly to ask how I was doing, really doing, not just out of politeness, look me in the eyes and was able to hear the voice of my soul, when I couldn't.

I call her my Gift of Existence, with her support she encouraged me to follow my scared doubtful dream of ever becoming a professional counsellor.

She guided me to my placement and always reminds me that it was me who took her ideas and follow them, it was me who had to work to achieve my goals, I did not believe it as I am not good at taking compliments.

She celebrated every success, doesn't matter how small or big it was, the same smile in her lips and eyes congratulated me.

She help me to understand how my eating was affecting my health, how to increase energy levels by choosing options that were beneficial, simple, cheap and exciting. She did workshops for kids and invited my children and me, the kids learnt really valuable lessons and really like her and her son that we met (That is saying with teenagers). She invited my daughter to attend the "Little Godesess Workshop" where it really lifted her confidence alongside providing a great counsellor for my dolly, who after 6 sessions is really chilled, happy, comfortable in her skin and independent.

The name of this lady is Bridgette Smith who is founder of "Urban Wolf" and she got me a pressie to remind and internalise the believe that I so often forget
